The sleepless night ended. Homework done studies not due. Thinking back, what makes IB so depressing? so fun? so challenging? and most of all, why PSD and MARA choose it? Imagine a weekend of first aid, badminton tournament, piled-up of studies and just at the moment you think you could rest a while, some angels popped in from an unknown angle telling you that you are going for a mission? A list of sacrifice are to be made. Missing classes arise as it is a must in this package. Take it or leave it. Considering what's up waiting in the sea-city, only prayers works the best. Climb with mentality, work physically. In less than 2 hours, the journey will commence.
The worst part of all-the feelings if leaving her... Well, again, believe in Him and He will guide you through it...

I think it's not the IB programme that is depressing. It's more of KMB where we are doing the programme that is more depressing.
Some internal assessments such as business n itgs, or even extended essay would require us to deal with 'orang luar' to complete our assignments, and based on experience it is fun and interesting.
The only depressing part is when there's some college activity in the weekend (which would not even affect our cert if we didnt attend) and it coincides with appointments we arrange with people outside the college for our internal assessments. It is so hard to get permission to be excused from that college activity for something that actually matters. So much for the college saying we have to take our IB seriously.
Nice blog by the way. Cheers.
